How do I enable daily notifications?
Tap the moon icon in the top right corner of the app, select "Notifications", and enable them. You can customize the time you'd like to receive your daily cosmic insights.
How often is the data updated?
Charted automatically refreshes astronomical data when you open the app and through background refresh. The app fetches fresh insights and planetary positions to ensure you always have current information.
Do I need an account to use Charted?
No! Charted is completely private and doesn't require any account creation. All your data is stored locally on your device.
What do the different moon phases mean?
The app tracks eight moon phases: New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, Full Moon, Waning Gibbous, Last Quarter, and Waning Crescent. Each phase is calculated using precise astronomical algorithms.
How do I view detailed planetary information?
Tap the info (i) button on any daily card to see detailed astronomical data including planetary positions, aspects, and lunar information for that specific date.
What are transits, retrogrades, and aspects?
Transits track when planets move into new zodiac signs.
Retrogrades show when planets appear to move backward from Earth's perspective.
Aspects are angular relationships between planets that create specific cosmic energies.
The app isn't loading data. What should I do?
First, check your internet connection. Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If the issue persists, the server may be temporarily unavailable—data will refresh automatically when the connection is restored.
Is Charted available on Android?
Currently, Charted is only available for iOS devices running iOS 17 or later.
